WHY

With our project, we wanted to help the bees. Many animals, for example bees, are endangered and we don’t want bees to get extinct. They are very important to our food system: they pollinate 70 out of the top 100 human food crops that feed 90% of the world. And we may lose all the plants that bees pollinate, all of the animals that eat those plants and so on up the food chain. Which means a world without bees could struggle to sustain the global human population of 7 billion.

We are losing bees at an alarming rate. Possible reasons include the loss of flower meadows, climate change and use of pesticides.

HOW

We want to show people how to make easy and cheap bee hotels. Next, we want to create awareness for this huge issue and we are planning a lot more what we can do to help the bees survive.

WHAT

We want to make a plan ‘how to make bee hotels’ that is accessible for everyone, with a video called ‘how to make a bee hotel’ and we want to raise awareness for the extinction of bees and why this is a huge issue for the world.
